Directions: Beat butter and cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed 'til softened. Add sugar and extract and beat until fluffy. In medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. with mixer on low, add flour mixture to butter mixture. chill dough in refrigerator 1-2 hours until firm. tint coconut with water and green food coloring. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in tinted coconut. Place cookies about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. while cookies are still hot, get the Grands to gently press a jelly bean in the center of each cookie. Cool. Makes 40 bite-sized cookies.

1/2cup butter, softened

3oz. cream cheese, softened

1/4tsp almond extract

1/2cup sugar

1cup flour

1tsp baking powder

1/4tsp salt 

Nest ingredients:

1tsp water

4-5 drops green food coloring

1 1/3cup flaked coconut
